Chip in to help us reach more people, organize in our communities and run a campaign for a Victoria that works for everyone. No amount is too small, every dollar counts.

Who can donate?

Campaign contributions can be made by individuals who are:

  • Residents of British Columbia

  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents

Organizations, businesses, unions and other groups cannot make campaign contributions. Donations must be made using your own money and cannot be reimbursed by someone else.

How much can I donate?

In 2026, an individual can contribute up to $1,429.70 in total to local elections within the same jurisdiction. This limit includes monetary donations, loans, and the value of donated goods or services. Donations to City Council and School Board campaigns are subject to separate contribution limits.

A note about donations
