Let's fight for a Victoria For All
This fall, October 17, 2026, let's elect a city council willing to build a better, safer, more livable Victoria for ALL— not just the wealthy.
No matter who you are, the colour of your skin, or how much money you make, we all deserve to thrive in the city we call home. But while rents soar and grocery chains make record profits, working Victorians are struggling to get by.
This fall, let’s elect councilors that will stand with renters, workers, and families. Together, we can build affordable housing, strengthen public services and make Victoria a city that works for everyone.
About us & our candidates
GET INVOLVED
Victoria For All candidates are running to lower the cost of living, protect renters, build public and co-operative housing and put people ahead of profit. Fill out this interest form to learn more about Victoria For All and how to get involved.
Our campaign is built on four key pillars, each shaped by what makes Victoria our city.
HOUSING FOR ALL: A home you can afford and count on
Too many people in Victoria are struggling to keep a roof over their head. Rent keeps going up while renters are getting less and less in return. Families are being pushed out of their neighbourhoods, and too many people are only offered support once they’re already in a crisis.
Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Housing should be about providing security, not maximizing profits for corporate landlords and real estate investors.
We will:
Protect renters from renovictions, demovictions, unfair rent increases and restrictive pet policies.
Double city spending on affordable public, non-profit and co-operative housing.
Preserve existing affordable rental homes and help renters stay in their homes.
CARE FOR ALL: The right help, right when people need it
When someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, an overdose or homelessness, too often the only places to turn are an emergency room, the police or no meaningful help at all. That leaves people without the care they need and asks emergency services to respond to problems they were never designed to solve.
When people need support, they deserve care, dignity and real options.
We will:
Establish a 24-hour mental health crisis response service.
Expand access to voluntary mental health care, outreach supports, harm reduction and community health services.
Provide more accessible, 24-hour public washrooms, hygiene facilities and other essential supports.
Prevent homelessness before it starts and align city services with a Housing First approach.
SAFE CLIMATE FOR ALL: A healthier, cooler and more resilient city
Climate change is no longer just a future problem. Victoria is already experiencing hotter summers, wildfire smoke and more extreme weather. These impacts are hardest on seniors, low-income households and people without access to safe cooling, reliable transportation or green space.
Cities have a responsibility to do their part to reduce emissions while making sure people are protected from the effects of a changing climate. By investing in clean transportation, energy-efficient buildings and greener neighbourhoods, Victoria can reduce emissions, lower costs and help residents stay safe as our climate changes.
We will:
Expand free transit, starting with youth and seniors, and improve safe walking, cycling and rolling routes throughout the city.
Help lower energy bills and climate pollution by supporting heat pumps, energy efficiency upgrades and building retrofits.
Protect and expand Victoria's urban tree canopy and invest in green infrastructure that keeps neighbourhoods cooler, healthier and more climate resilient.
COMMUNITY FOR ALL: More places to gather, create and connect
Artists and independent venues are being priced out. Too many neighbourhoods lack welcoming, all-weather places where people can gather. And when nearly every opportunity to socialize, create or have fun comes with a price tag, being part of your community starts to feel like a luxury.
You shouldn’t need money to belong. Everyone deserves places to meet, make art, celebrate and enjoy the city they call home.
We will:
Create more publicly owned, accessible and all-weather places for people of all ages to gather.
Protect and support local artists, independent venues and community cultural organizations.
Expand free and low-cost arts, recreation and cultural events in neighbourhoods across Victoria.
Create more accessible places, programs and public spaces where seniors can gather, participate and stay connected.
