The Victoria Transit Riders Union is calling a rally to support our local transit workers who are preparing to strike for decent wages and working conditions! After 16 months of failing negotiations, the Unifor bus drivers have escalated their job action in the form of a uniform ban starting Aug 17. In solidarity, we are planning a rally this Monday (Aug 17) at 4 pm in front of the BC Transit office (530 Gorge Rd).
